Rev. Dr. Karen R. Green is a successful businesswoman, a respected political strategiest, campaign manager and mediator. A resident of the state for over 25-years she has consistently demonstrated leadership in addressing the pressing socio-political agendas of our time, including, but not limited to, securing civil liberties for immigrants, expanding economic opportunities, expanding educational opportunities, youth development, women’s rights, religious freedoms, universal healthcare, social justice and climate advocacy.
Dr. Green currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Florida democratic Party and a former chair of the party’s diversity and inclusion committee. She is also an Ambassador-At-Large with the United Nations. Her political service record includes her role as a Pledged PLEO Delegate to the DNC 2020 for President-elect Joe Biden; Senior Advisor to the Michael Bloomberg Campaign For President; Field Director for President Obama’s presidential election campaigns; Coalition Director for Hillary Clinton’s presidential primary and general elections 2016; liaison for Democrats Abroad; political advance facilitator to the US Territories for President Bill Clinton and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton; and state lead for Organize For America (OFA). Dr. Green’s passion for service and her strong sense of dedication in responding to critical issues are well recognized and have garnered her many accolades, including a commendation in the Congressional Record Vol 165 No. 43 in honor of Women’s History Month (March 11, 2019)
