Candidate, U.S. House Arkansas District 3
U.S. Representative Steve Womack was elected to represent Arkansas’s Third Congressional District in 2010. He is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, where he serves as the Ranking Member of the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Subcommittee and sits on the Defense and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Subcommittees. He is also the former Chairman of the House Budget Committee.
Prior to his election to Congress, Representative Womack served as the Mayor of Rogers, Arkansas, for twelve years and in the Arkansas Army National Guard for over thirty years, retiring at the rank of Colonel.
Steve has been married to his wife, Terri, for 37 years, and they have three sons, three grandsons, and a dog named Cooper.
