The story of the 36 Western Falun Gong students that went to Tianmen Square in 2001 to protest the ban and crackdown carried out by the Chinese Communist Party is quite inspiring. It is sad to be in a position having to fight the same style of propaganda here in a free country like Australia, and worse, for that propaganda to be published by a state funded media outlet like the ABC.

It should not have to be said, but Falun Gong:
- does not support homophobia or harassment of LGBTQ people, we live by tolerance and compassion.
- does not stop its students from seeking medical treatment
- does not believe that inter-racial marriage should be banned or is evil 

These lines of attack come directly from the Chinese Communist Propaganda campaign and are based on mis-representation and wild speculation on the teachings of Falun Gong.
