Reproduction in Plants involves a few complicated steps. The first part of the process is 'Pollination' which involves pollen being transferred from the stamen to the stigma. As soon as the pollen grain has touched the stigma, then Pollination has occurred. Pollination can occur via wind or insects. 

After pollination has occurred, the next step involves a pollen tube growing from the pollen grains down the style towards the ovary. Here it grows into the ovule. Next, the male reproductive gamete moves down the pollen tube to meet the female reproductive gamete. The two gametes fuse together thus commencing fertilisation. 

After fertilisation has occurred, the ovules will turn into seeds while the surrounding ovary will form the fruit protecting the seeds. The next step of reproduction is seed dispersal but that is a story for another video!
