One of the most notorious periods in Danish history is the Viking Age. This video shows Lejre, a Viking Age “hotspot” where many Viking Halls, and graves were excavated. We also went into the accompanying museum which shows the archeological finds discovered here. The second part of the video is Ledreborg Castle, one of Denmark’s finest Baroque Castles where we climb the steep landscaped gardens. The end of the video shows a surprise meeting with some endearing Scottish Highland Cattle. The youngest of them, a male calf called Jeppe, lost his mother last summer after he was born. The owner of the cattle told us that he was bottle fed. Check out if you agree with me that he is doing very well :-)
