A early work by German romantic composer Robert Schumann (1810-1856). A piano concerto in F major (1829/32) - reconstructed and orchestrated by pianist Lev Vinocour. Here the 3rd movement with Lev Vinocour and the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, conducted by Johannes Wildner. Lev Vinocour has also recorded this work as a part of a box with Schumann's complete works for piano and orchestra. A set released just in time for the 200th anniversary of Schumann's birth on the 8th of June 2010. The inclusion of 5 World Premiere Recordings makes this collection unique and adds a new dimension to our understanding of this great German romantic composer.
