DO YOU REMEMBER that good old southern cooking? When I was growing up, my granny was my favorite cook.  My mama was an amazing cook as well, but there was just something about being in granny’s kitchen.

I am a southern girl born in raised in Collard Valley in Polk County Georgia.  We went to church on Sunday, school during the week, the grocery store on Friday’s and that was our life.  No vacations, no camping, just plain old southern country people
NOW FOR THIS FAMILY RECIPE:
Air Fryer Fried Chicken

1 RAW FRYER CHICKEN* (NOT A HEN)
*Cut chicken up in parts. Cut breasts in half. 
CHRIS’ SPECIAL SEASONING (NEXT PAGE)
2 SHALLOW PIE PLATES OR CAKE PANS*

*PREPARE ONE PLATE WITH THE FOLLOWING: 
1 CUP SELF-RISING FLOUR & 2 TSP. SPECIAL SEASONING & BLEND TOGETHER WELL.

*PREPARE A SECOND PLATE WITH: 
2 EGGS & 1/2 CUP MILK WHISKED TOGETHER.

Take each piece of chicken and sprinkle with Chris’ seasoning. Dip seasoned chicken into egg mixture and then into flour mixture, making sure to press flour onto chicken well. Let the dredged chicken pieces rest for 10 minutes before placing in the air fryer. Cook chicken in the Air Fryer at 380 degrees for 20 minutes, then turn the pieces and cook for another 15 minutes. Internal temperature should be 180 Degrees Fahrenheit. After cooking, let the chicken rest and cool before serving. 


CHRIS’S SPECIAL SEASONING
2 TSP. CAYENNE PEPPER
2 TSP BLACK PEPPER
2 TSP. WHITE PEPPER
4 TSP. PAPRIKA
4 TSP. SALT
Place seasonings in a small container with lid and shake well. j Put in a salt shaker and label for frying foods.  This is amazing on our Famous Fried Chicken use more for spicy chicken.

Today, our videos are in HD with more quality sound, and not only that I have learned so many tips from viewers just like YOU! 
I really believe I am an even better cook thanks to you all and appreciate your encouragement.  Being a YouTuber takes lots of patience, time, determination, thick skin and so much more, but the true joy comes from the stories from my viewers.  Many of you mean so much to us.
