In the Pyrenees, the traditional way to weave is to use a loom to connect the wool fibers to make a fabric. The wool is first spun into yarn and then dyed with natural pigments to achieve the desired colors. The weaver then sets up the loom, using a system of threads to create a frame for the fabric. The weaver makes a tight, interlocking fabric by crossing the wool fibers over and under the threads on the loom.

In the Pyrenees, wool weaving is still an important part of the local economy, and there are a lot of small workshops and cooperatives that make hand-woven textiles. Many of these textiles are still made using traditional methods and techniques and are sought after for their quality and unique style. The video was filmed at San Juan de Plan (Huesca), in the middle of the Aragonese Pyrenees. The people who live there are used to making the most of what their environment has to offer. In 2001, a group of women decided to bring back the whole process of making wool textiles, from shearing the sheep in the spring to working on the loom to make clothes that could stand up to the harsh winter.
