149 years ago today (April 1st), the White Star Liner "ATLANTIC" crashed onto the rocks of Nova Scotia in a storm. The ship was quickly torn apart with a loss of around 550 souls, including every woman on board and all but either one or two children (the number is debated).

This video is not a documentary and won't be for everyone. It's simply an ASMR style calm sunset on the waves at the exact spot the ship went down. A few seconds in, I've labeled the spots on screen and also overlaid an image of the ship to give an indication of where in this view she went down.

With both the anniversary of the disaster and the fact that this is the end cap for my SS Atlantic playlist, this is a good video to mentally reflect on the story. It's relaxing and peaceful to watch the sun go down on the sea here and the sea was quite calm when this was filmed. It wasn't nearly like this when the Atlantic wrecked here.
