BIOGRAPHY :
If Durham, England-based PRINCE BISHOP sound unlike any other band, it is completely intentional. It takes time and vision to achieve this and the band has worked diligently to create the labour of love that is their debut album All is Due. The band have spent years trying to understand, hone and then translate the sounds they hear in their head’s and the feelings these sounds evoke. Theirs is a sound that is wholly elemental.

Originally completed and slated for release before the pandemic, the album has been long delayed but is finally seeing the light of day. Vibey from start-to-finish, All is Due is a collection of songs written to work with just a voice and an acoustic guitar, translated into ‘band in a room’ performances, then captured live in a studio and enhanced with layers of post-production to bring it all to life. It is all alluring vocal harmonies, cascading waves of reverb, delayed guitars, stout drums, intricate bass lines, touches of crafty Hammond organ, and bags of soul.

As one reviewer would have it: Their style is definitely intellectual but is no way pretentious. This is cultivated rock and roll which is musical food for the soul that you just cannot get enough of.
