Southwest White Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients;
2 lbs cajan sausage or your favorite, cut into small chunks
6 oz cream cheese softened
2 Tbsp sour cream (Daisy brand)
1 lb  monterey jack cheese or white cheddar cheese cut into chunks
2 Tbsp. Rockin Robin's taco seasoning
1 small can mild green chiles, drained
1 onion, diced
1/tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
sour cream for garnish
Blue tortilla chips or your favorite 
and a skillet and a Crockpot

Directions:
In a large frying pan over medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and then the onion.  Saute the onion for 10 minutes.

Then add the sausage and green chiles.  Stir frequently until heated through.

In a medium size bowl, add the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, garlic powder and pepper and stir to combine.

Pour the sausage mixture and the cream cheese mixture into a crockpot and stir to combine.  Add the cheese chunks and place the crockpot on high heat until the cheese mixture is all creamy, melted and spreadable.

Turn the crockpot to low or warm and let this be a self serve appetizers any guest would enjoy!
