In this video, I show you and tell you what a trap primer is. This is also known as a trap seal primer, and it basically ensures that water is always kept in the drain trap so that the sewer smells don't end up in the house. This is commonly found where there are floor drains that don't commonly get water poured down them. I found the small pipe in the floor drain in my laundry room and didn't know what it was, so I did some research and found out that it was a trap primer, so I figured that I would make a video explaining what it does and how you exactly how it works.
